About Dr. Rauch
Discovering “The Connections”
Dr. Rauch is a mind-body therapist. The mind influences the body and the body influences the mind.
When you suffer from anxiety, depression or trauma, it is crucial to pay attention to your body in order to feel better. Your body has patterns and structures which serve as powerful entrances to the unconscious mind. These patterns organize your muscles, bodily structures and your belief systems, which in turn shape the way you live your life. Therefore, working with the muscular patterns and belief systems is crucial for breaking free from the pain. Making the connection between the physical (body) and the mental (mind) is crucial for health and growth.
“Mind-body” is a term coined to describe the physical process of connecting a person’s mind and body for enhanced functioning and consciousness. “Connection” is an orientation to Self and others for the purpose of learning and executing new patterns that forward your life. Movement and touch, partnered with talk therapy allow us to explore these connections and help you discover yourself on a whole new level.
Dr. Rauch’s work is sparked by her love of life. Her desire to support her clients, help them remember and discover their spark for life is her life’s mission. Her practice is not about what is good or bad, sick or well. It is about personal growth and being the most of who you really are.
When personal growth is suspended we feel pain. The result is usually separation from ourselves. We know we this is occurring because we feel anxious or depressed. In addition our love of life, relationships and even performance are impeded. Depth work with Dr. Rauch means going back to our earliest and deepest memories. It is in these unconscious patterns that we will find the answer to alleviate pain and add zest for life. In order to touch the deepest parts of ourselves, we need consciousness and a means to communicate with that early emotional and physical pattern.
The first way we learn to communicate as a newborn baby is through touch and movement, a physical experience. Therefore, our earliest pain and separation from our Selves is communicated to us through touch and movement. In order to heal these pains it is only natural to use the same mode of communication. Healing occurs when the mind understands what the body feels. This match begins the process of releasing the patterns that bring us pain.
